Why is the File Now button grayed out in TrustFile?


You are attempting to file your return but the File Now button is grayed out.




Occasionally something in the system was updating but didn't finish properly and the return becomes inactive.

  • Before contacting support, click the State settings link for the state and click Save. The File Now button may become active after doing this and you can file.
  • If you complete the above step and it is still grayed out, contact us and request for the return to be regenerated.
