Add states to existing Streamlined Sales Tax (SST) registration


You have an active SST Registration with Avalara filing as your Certified Service Provider (CSP) and need to add additional SST states to your registration. 

First Step

Complete the Additional SST-CSP State Registration Application form HERE and submit by the 25th of the month preceding the effective date of the new registration. For example, a desired registration date of 10/1/2019 needs to be submitted by 9/25/2019.

For customers adding PA CSP: also provide the PA REV-1843 to be submitted alongside the SST application and indicate in the case or email if you're already registered in Pennsylvania. If you are previously registered, you must include your PA registration ID and filing frequency. More info on Avalara's partnership with Pennsylvania.

Second Step

Create a case via your AvaTax Account and submit the required documentation. A member of the SST team will reach out to confirm your registration and effective dates for the additional states.
