How do I resolve a CB-201 error when using QuickBooks?

I am receiving a CB-201 error when using QuickBooks.

Environment

QuickBooks

 

Resolution

  • On the computer in Question:
    • Run the task Manager
    • Go to the processes tab
    • Close everything that starts with QB, QuickBooks, Avalara, Avatax
  • Run QuickBooks normally
