How do I add a note to an invoice in QuickBooks?

You want to add an internal note on an invoice that was already processed.

  • You can add a note to the Memo field.

 

Note​: Making any change to the invoice and saving it will cause tax to recalculate, but tax will not change unless there has been a change made to the invoice that would affect tax (date, items, address) or a change to your account settings (nexus, item mapping)
