Why is nothing posting from NetSuite?

Overview

You are using the Avalara service in NetSuite to calculate tax, but no transactions are being posted to your account.

Environment

NetSuite

Resolution

  • Open a transaction and go to the AvaTax tab, confirm message "This document has used AvaTax Services" shows, indicating the transaction processed correctly
    • If there is an error, resolve error, then save and confirm transaction processed correctly
  • Go to Avalara > Setup > Configure Avalara 
  • Transactions are posted in the account listed in Account ID, which should be the same number as listed in the upper right hand corner of the Admin Console
