Why am I receiving a JurisdictionNotFoundError on my transaction in Netsuite?
Overview
You are attempting to calculate tax on a transaction and keep receiving an error that the address is incorrect:
"JurisdictionNotFoundError - Unable to determine the taxing jurisdictions."
Environment
Netsuite Basic
Netsuite Oneworld
Resolution

This error indicates there is a mismatch on one of the addresses between the State and Zip code

Please review the AvaTax response to find which address is triggering the error

If the customer Ship to or Bill to address is triggering the error, pull up the customer card and fix any issues with the address

If the customer address is not the issue and your Origin address is triggering the error

Make sure the Location/warehouse address is complete and correct

Go to Set Up tab > Company > Locations to display a list of locations.

Check to see if there is an address displaying on the Addresses tab

Click Edit to add or update the address fields and then Save

Check the Subsidiary setup next

Go to Set Up > Company > Subsidiary

Make sure the Province/State listed for the Subsidiary details matches the state listed in the Addresses tab

Click Edit to add or update the address fields and then Save

Recalculate the SO or Invoice.
