Why am I getting an "installation didn't finish" error in Microsoft Dynamics GP?


I am trying to install my integration software on my computer and getting an "installation didn't finish" error

If the installation times out it could be a permissions issue for the folders you are trying to install the integration into, on your computer. To rectify this,

  • Identify the folders for the install by running it again.
  • Go to the folders and right click on them.
  • Open Properties>Advanced>Security and make sure Full Access is checked for your user type.
  • If you still face an issue, have your IT person perform the install. You may not have the necessary permissions to perform an install.
