Can I re-add a customer I deleted from CertCapture using the same Customer Number from my ERP?

Overview

You want to delete a customer from your CertCapture account, but do not want to prevent ever adding them back in using their ERP-derived Customer number.

Resolution

  • Yes, you can delete customers, either individually or in bulk, and not preclude adding them back later with their same Customer Numbers from your ERP.
  • Note: They will have a new Customer ID, which is the unique number created within CertCapture, but this will not impact any information coming in from your ERP.
