Why did I receive a notice about the new website to file District of Columbia returns?

You may have received an email from the District of Columbia (DC) Department of Revenue indicating that there is a new website to file your returns and would like to know if there is any pending action for you.

Resolution

  • Beginning in November 2017, taxpayers will be requires to file and submit payment via MyTax.DC.gov

  • If you are an Avalara Returns customer
