Why am I receiving error message "connection to Avalara was unsuccessful" when attempting to install Bigcommerce?

I am not able to connect to Avalara via Bigcommerce.

Resolution

  • Please confirm the account number, license key, and company code are correct.
  • If you are not attempting to connect to a development account, please uncheck the checkbox beside "Sandbox"
