How can I send a follow up certificate request?

Overview

You sent a mailing campaign and want to know how to send a new followup request to customers who did not provide a certificate.

Environment

Avalara CertCapture

Resolution

  • Create a mailing campaign using only customers who previously received a mailing campaign certificate request:
    • Go to Search > Customer Search > Advanced > under Campaign Criteria fill out the information for the specific campaign you want to follow up with, or the sent date, etc. > add any additional search parameters, such as Exposure Zone (certificate state) > click Get Search Results > click Perform Action On Results - Start Campaign
  • ​To send a request when the previous request was not part of a mailing campaign you can send from the customer record, or a mailing campaign without including campaign parameters in your search criteria
