Why does it say my account has been locked?

Overview

When logging into the Avalara admin console with the correct credentials it returns a message that say "account has been locked"

Environment

Avalara Avatax

Resolution

  • Please contact your account admin to reactivate your account, it becomes locked if there are multiple attempted logins with an incorrect password
    • If you are the only admin please contact support@avalara.com to have your profile reactivated

 

Note: Support unlocks and reactivates your account by resetting the password.
