Exclusion File Format (*.exc)

An exclusion file is a comma delimited input file used by the AFC System to determine what states and/or countries should be excluded from consideration for taxation. If a state is excluded, Federal taxes may still apply. If a country is excluded, no taxes will apply.

SAMPLE EXCLUSION

The following example would exclude the country of Mexico, Province of Quebec in Canada, Puerto Rico and California.

  • US States can be entered as just the state abbreviation (country code USA is assumed when absent).
