Data group configuration

You can use a data group to add or organize the data displayed in the application in useful categories. A data group unifies related fields into one section in the application. Our implementation team helps you create essential data groups for your account during the implementation phase. After implementation, as a manager or administrator, you can use this page to: 

  • Create a custom data group  
  • View and edit custom data group  
  • View existing custom fields information on a particular tab 
  • Create a custom field within a system data group 
  • Create a custom field within a custom data group 
  • Delete a custom field 
  • Delete a custom group 

To perform these tasks, navigate to Setup > Customize > Data groups. This page acts as a control center for all your system groups, custom groups, and custom fields.
