What's new 

• Added the functionality to delete certificates in ECM. For details, see Delete a certificate.
• Added the functionality to pause and resume certificates. When a certificate is paused, it will no longer exempt transactions in AvaTax until that certificate is resumed.For details, see Pause and resume a certificate.
• Added the ability to delete customers in ECM, whether or not they are linked to a certificate. For details, see Delete an exempt customer record.

Enhancements 

• Under the History tab of the customer page, the certificate link is updated to point to the new certificate page.
• On selecting the Add a certificate button on the customer page, the name of that customer appears in the Customers field at the top of the certificate creation page.
• On the certificates search page, the table is updated to display the newest certificates at the top of the table.
• Added a setting to enable or disable the auto-request feature for expiring certificates.
• Added the ability to view the default certificates your customers.

Fixes 

• Fixed an issue that caused tax ID numbers to appear as strings of encrypted characters.
• Fixed an issue that caused an error when removing tax regions from a customer.

What's new 

On the certificate search page, the Add a certificate button is added at the top-right corner of the page. Users can select this button to add a certificate directly from this search page.

Enhancements

• The Certificates page is redesigned to make it easier to use.
• The Filters panel now opens by default when the Customers or Certificate page opens.
• On the Customers page, if no exemption certificate is associated with a customer, an alert message appears indicating about the missing certificates.
• The content of the email that is sent when requesting a certificate from a customer has been improved for clarity.
• If you request certificates for a specific region, then in the Request a certificate page, the customer's existing regions appear under Regions covered by this certificate drop-down.
