Filter consumer use transactions

Use filters to process and confirm transactions in groups. Avalara Consumer Use saves new transaction values after each import.

Avalara Consumer Use is an add-on for AvaTax. Adjust transactions in Avalara Consumer Use and then forward them to your AvaTax company to manage reports and returns.

 

Steps

  1. In Avalara Consumer Use, go to Transactions > Process transactions.
  2. Filter by document date or vendor. Click +Filters to see more options.
     
    If a particular value is missing from the filter options, add that item value to your settings.
  3. Select Apply to filter your transactions.

Fields

  • Transaction components
    Basic transaction information. These map to the columns of the basic import template.
  • Total, taxable, variance, and accrual amounts
    Show transactions based on minimum or maximum values.
  • Modified date
    Recently updated or processed transactions.
  • Import information
    Transactions that were part of a specific import file or imported within a particular date range.
  • Purchase details
    Transactions that include a specific purchase order, agent, or revenue account.
  • Custom fields
    Transactions that include specific custom values. These map to the Custom columns of the basic import template.
