Run a cross-border transactions report

Cross-border transaction reports provide information about international transactions with customs duties calculations.

Tip icon AvaTax begins updating report data every 30 minutes, so you may need to wait to see your most recent transactions in your reports. Go to the Transactions page for up-to-the-minute activity.

  1. In AvaTax, go to Reports.
    The Transaction Reports tab opens.
  2. Select Cross-border Reports for the report category. The cross-border report is automatically selected.
    • Duty and Tax Data Export
      Shows customs duty totals, importer of record, calculations, and variance.
  3. Report details options change depending on the report you select. Select details to filter transaction information you want to include in the report.
    Tip icon Don't forget to change the Country field to All Non-US if you want to view international transactions.
  4. Select whether you want to preview or export the report, and then select Generate Report.
