Run a consumer use tax document report

Use a consumer user tax document report to compare consumer use (purchase) transactions in AvaTax with transactions in your business application.
AvaTax begins updating report data every 30 minutes, so you may need to wait to see your most recent transactions in your reports. Go to the Transactions page for up-to-the-minute activity. |

Steps
- In AvaTax, go to Reports.
The Transaction Reports tab opens. - Select Consumer Use Tax Document Reports for the report category, and then select the report type:
- Consumer Use Tax Top Line
Shows top line totals for your companies with transactions in AvaTax. - Consumer Use Tax Document Summary
Shows totals for purchase transactions in AvaTax. - Consumer Use Tax Document Line Tax Detail
Shows details for a selected transaction, showing each taxing jurisdiction within a line on the transaction. - Consumer Use Tax Document Line Detail
Shows totals of each line within the transactions in AvaTax.
- Consumer Use Tax Top Line
- Report details options change depending on the report you select. Select details to filter transaction information you want to include in the report.
- Select whether you want to preview or export the report, and then select Generate Report.
