Change the default country and currency

Steps
- In AvaTax, go to Settings > All AvaTax Settings.
- Next to Advanced Company Settings, select Manage.
- Select the settings you want to apply to your company.
- Default country
Select the country you want to use for a transaction's origin and destination address, unless you specify a different country or countries when entering the transaction. This determines the tax calculations. - Default currency
Select the currency you want to use for tax calculations.
- Default country
- Select Save Settings.
Avalara doesn't keep track of currency conversions, so make sure that all transactions being sent to AvaTax are in your default currency.
