  1. Total Liability
Ties to the 'Ending Balance Held for Future Filing' shown at the end of the monthly Tax Invoiced and Filed Summary report. Your tax analyst may check the balances for reasonableness by comparing the relative proportions of the different tax types on this report to the proportions of types and taxes actually paid per the Tax Returns Filed report.
  2. Summary Balances
Summary balances as of the beginning of the year are provided, broken down by filing cycle. The "statuses" simply reflect individual realization cycles (Status 1 for monthly; Status 2 for Quarterly...). Note that the $486.42 in this example was held at the beginning of the year and realized in it entirety via January filings.
  3. Cumulative Year to Date Realizations
Amounts applied against returns filed are provided and grouped in the summary by filing tax month. In this example, the $4,586.10 represents December 201X amounts collected and now realized via February filings. It ties directly to the activity summary within the Tax Invoiced and Filed Summary report.
  4. Prior Filing Month Amount Collected
In this example, the $5,915.56 represents the January 201Y amounts collected and now realized via February filings. This also ties directly to the activity summary within the Tax Invoiced and Filed Summary report.
