Change default payment method

Your default payment method is the credit card, debit card, or bank account that's charged automatically when an invoice is due. To change this payment method, go to your account page.
Before you begin
- Only users with account-level access and permissions can change billing information.
- When you pay through the web application, you’re enrolled in automatic payments. If you encounter an error or need to update your payment method after a payment is declined, contact support.
Steps
- Sign in to Avalara.
- Select Account > Billing.
- Select a payment method to set as default. If you don't see the payment method you want to use, add a new one.
