Why is there an alert that my payment is past due for filings I completed using the old software?


My new web-based account says last month’s filing is past due, but I filed it using the old software, so I need to confirm it went through. 




  • Yes, it went through.
    • To remove the alert, click on “I filed this return” in the bottom right corner of the box listing the return.
    • The old software is unable to communicate that information with the new software.
  • If you continue to file using the old software, your new account will continue to say “past due” for each month, even though you have, in fact, filed using the old software.
    • Rest assured you haven’t done anything wrong.
