Why is the Payment Account showing N/A?

Overview

You are attempting to file and remit, however, the Payment Account is showing N/A, even though your banking information has been completed.

Environment

Avalara Trustfile

Resolution

  • Click "States & History"
  • Expand the States information by clicking on the arrow
  • Click "State Settings"
  • Uncheck "I remit directly to the state"
  • Save

Also, you may need to review the return. 

  • While on the "Review & File" page of the return
  • Click "Edit State Settings"
  • Uncheck "I remit directly to the state"
  • Save
