You created a tax rule for a tax code in the Admin Console, but cannot get it to apply to a sale and you want to know why.
- The rule will only be applied if the sale is being processed with the tax code listed in the rule.
- A second rule (for example, "Taxability") may be needed, as the tax code may be exempt or taxable by default.
- Check the dates and region--a tax rule covers only a certain time period and a certain region.
