Why is tax not calculating in Avatax for Stripe Invoicing?

You are unable to calculate tax with AvaTax for Stripe Invoicing.

Resolution

This issue occurs if the latest AvaTax password is not updated in the Stripe Invoicing connector.

Please follow these steps to re-integrate your Stripe account with AvaTax for Stripe Invoicing.

Re-Integration steps:

  1. GoTo https://avataxforstripe.com and click Connect with Stripe.
  2. Click Sign in with Stripe to Connect.
  3. Enter your Stripe credentials.
  4. Once you are on the Setup page of AvaTax For Stripe, click on Edit Configuration.
  5. Click the Switch AvaTax Account button.
  6. Enter your AvaTax credentials: Username and Password, and click Log in.
  7. On the Setup page of AvaTax For Stripe, select the company from the drop-down list.
  8. Click Save Configuration.
