Why is my Opportunity tax rate different from the Invoice in Salesforce?

Overview

I had an opportunity that I calculated tax on for a customer, which I have updated the tax calculation for, but it still does not match the order.

Resolution

The difference may be as a result of the opportunity using a different tax calculation date from the invoice. You may need to edit your configurations to include the Tax calculation date button, and change the date to match the invoice. This date will override the original tax calculation date and can be changed to match the invoice.
