Why are the California locals not showing in reports?


When running the Sales and Sellers Use Tax Jurisdiciton report, there are no local jurisdictions for California showing.

  • If you do not see the local jurisdictions displaying tax on your transactions and in the Sales and Sellers Use Tax Jurisdiction report, the most likely cause is the local jurisdictions have not been activated in the Nexus Jurisdictions settings.
  • To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:
    • Click on Organization Tab > Nexus Jurisdictions.
      • Click on Select Jurisdictions under United States.
      • Click on Select Jurisdictions under California.
        • Select the appropriate jurisdictions you are required to collect in for California.
  • To update the reports with the local jurisdictions, you will need to recalculate the California transactions from the current period.
