Why is QuickBooks online not calculating tax after disconnecting and reconnecting?


After disconnecing and reconnecting Avatax for QuickBooks online we are not seeing any estimate tax button and tax doesn't calculate.


QuickBooks Online


  • This can happen if you have not completed the integration setup in the configuration of the connector.
  • If you see the integrate button and the text "Click to complete the AvaTax QuickBooks Online Integration this means you need to click "Integrate"
  • After that finishes successfully you will be completely connected to AvaTax and should see the estimate tax button as well as tax calculations upon saving invoices.
