How do I resolve Your Avalara Avatax Integration is not connected to Quickbooks Online

Overview

When saving an invoice in QuickBooks Online, an error message is given:

"Your Avalara Avatax Integration is not connected to Quickbooks Online"

Environment

QuickBooks Online

Resolution

  • In QuickBooks Online
    • Go to Apps -> My Apps -> Launched Avalara AvaTax
    • Change the integration status from Down to Active
