Why are transactions from one company in Quickbooks posting to another company in the Admin Console?


I have transactions from one company posting to another in the Admin Console. 




  • This issue can happen when the QuickBooks is not closed all the way when switching companies.
  • When just switching companies, the Avatax connection is not always severed, resulting in transactions from the second company posting to the original.
  • In order to prevent this from happening, QuickBooks will need to be completely closed and then reopened and logged into the second company.
