Why am I receiving a CB-221 error in Quickbooks?

You receiving a CB-221 error in QuickBooks after logging in.

Environment

QuickBooks

Resolution

  • Close QuickBooks > go to the Task Manager on your machine > go to Processes > end all QBQuickbooksAvalara, and AvaTax processes
  • Launch Quickbooks normally and login.
