Why am I receiving 'Permission Denied' for the AvalaraEventsCallback in QuickBooks?

Overview

I am receiving Permissions Denied when opening QB for AvalaraEventsCallback 

Environment

QuickBooks

Resolution

  • Users do not have permissions to access the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Avalara
  • Please Navigate to that folder, Right click the folder, and go to Properties.
  • Go to the Security Tab and press Edit
    • Give  all users and groups Full Control over the folder and subfolder and files
