How do I fix the error "Subscribe.exe - ERRMSG No Disk" in Quickbooks?

Overview

When trying to run Subscribe.exe, you receive the following error:
Subscribe.exe - No Disk
There is no disk in the Drive. Please insert a disk into drive\Device\Harddisk2\DR2.

Resolution

  • Run your Avalara AvaTax setup again, this time performing a repair.
    • It may help to do "Run as Administrator" if this is on a Windows 7 system.
  • Additionally, make sure the setup file exists locally.
