How do I delete a transaction that is in the admin console but not QuickBooks?

Overview

There are transactions in the admin console that aren't in QuickBooks.

Environment

Avalara Avatax
QuickBooks

Resolution

  • Find the transaction in the admin console.
  • Click on the transaction document code > click Edit > choose Adjustment Reason "Reconciled with General Ledger" > click Save as Uncommitted
