Why does my transaction say, "The Tax calculation call to AvaTax was successful. Please contact the Administrator"?

You are getting the message "The Tax calculation call to AvaTax was successful. Please contact the Administrator".

Environment

Netsuite Oneworld

Resolution

  • This can happen from time to time due to the uniqueness of your system.
  • You will need to make sure that the transaction was sent to the Admin Console with the correct data.
    • If the transaction in the Admin Console matches the one in Netsuite, the message you are seeing can be disregarded. 
  • If the transaction in the admin console does not match the one in Netsuite, there was no tax calculated, or there is no admin console record, pull up the transaction in Netsuite. 
    • Press the Edit button and then the Calculate Tax button or Save button
    • If the transaction should be taxable, but does not recalculate to show tax or you receive the same error, please call into Technical Support.
