Why are the SHIPTO, CARRIER and SHIPVIA fields locked on Sales Order in NetSuite OneWorld?

Overview

You are creating a Sales Order using non-inventory items. You noticed the fields "SHIPTO", "CARRIER" and "SHIPVIA" are not editable.

NetSuite OneWorld

Resolution

  • The SHIPTO/CARRIER/SHIPVIA will get blocked if any non-inventory item is selected.  This is an expected behavior by NetSuite. Avalara does not have control to enable or disable these fields.
