Why are all calculations failing in our newly refreshed Netsuite sandbox?


After refreshing a Netsuite sandbox with the data from our production account, all tax calculations are failing in the sandbox.




  • When the sandbox was refreshed, the AvaTax production credentials were written to the Netsuite sandbox. Since Netsuite sandbox accounts are not able to communicate with AvaTax production accounts, you will need to enter AvaTax sandbox credentials in the Avalara->Configure Avalara settings.
