In Netsuite, if you have the Tax Item set at the header level of the transaction, you will see a tax column for your items. This article will go over how to control the way this field is defaulted. This column controls item taxability if it is not mapped to an Avatax Taxcode.
- The Item Tax Schedule is a native Netsuite object that controls taxability of items by Nexus state.
- This only applies if the "Tax" column appears on your transactions. If it does, you can set the defaults for an item by modifying the Tax Schedule it is assigned to.
