Why are my faxes not being uploaded in Avalara CertCapture?

Overview

You believe that your faxes are not being received in CertCapture.

Environment

Avalara CertCapture

Resolution

  • Confirm you are sending (having your customers send) to your Avalara CertCapture fax number
    • View the fax number under Company Details > Fax Number
    • Only faxes sent to the fax number we provide are automatically uploaded into your Avalara CertCapture account for validation
  • Send a test fax to confirm if there is an issue with processing, rather than customers sending to the wrong number, etc.
    • If the faxed document is not available within 15 minutes, please contact support
