Why am I not able to create a user due to an Account with same email already exists?


Trying to create a new user profile you see the error message "Your changes were not saved. Please correct the errors and save again. Account with same email already exists"


Avalara Certs


  • Use a different email address
    • There can be only one user in the entire Avalara Certs system with a particular email address.
    • If an email address is in use, even if that user is associated with a different account, it is not possible to create a new user using that email address.
