How do I resolve Invalid columns:(name of column)?


When importing transactions the error message says In


Avalara Avatax


  • There are 2 ways to fix this error
    • Most Common Method:
      • Go to Tools Import Data > Select Transaction import for the drop down > Download
      • Transfer the Data into a new template
    • Alternate Method:
      • Compare the import to the error log columns
      • Make sure the Columns between the to match exactly
        • Do not include the error column on the original import this is for error files only
      • Make corrections to the incorrect columns.
