How to resolve the error "AVA Header does not exist" in Dynamics NAV?

Overview

You recently upgraded to Dynamics NAV 2016. After doing so you are receiving error "The AVA Header does not exist" on a few transactions.

Environment

Microsoft Dynamics NAV

Resolution

  • Upgrade to the latest AvaTax for Dynamics NAV connector.
    • An additional hotfix may need to be applied. Contact Avalara Support for assistance.
