If your Avatax connector is calculating tax, but 0 dollars is coming back as the result this article can help you troubleshoot common issues.
The most important things to check when this happens are listed below.
- Check to make sure you have Nexus selected in the destination region, and the document date is after the nexus start date.
- Check to make sure the TaxExempt1 field is not populated on the sales transaction, this will cause the transaction to be flagged as exempt.
- Check to make sure the line level Sales Tax Option field is not set to "Nontaxable"
