How can I have my user profile unlocked?

Overview

You received an email indicating you exceeded the number of login attempts allowed by the Avalara AvaTax Admin Console and we have temporarily locked your account. You want to know how to have it reactivated.

Resolution

  • Please contact your Account Admin to have your user profile re-activated
  • They go to Settings > Manage Users > Select User > Click Active > Click Reset Password to reactivate your profile and send a temporary password.
