Why is my shipping address triggering an address invalid error in AvaTax?


when entering shipping addresses I am repeatedly receiving errors that the address number is out of range and invalid

  • If an address is not in the USPS database we can not validate it as we use their database.
  • An address being in Google has no bearing on this.
  • This applies to both ship to and ship from, both are required to be valid addresses when sending transactions to Avatax.
