How do I resolve error "Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed..." in AvaTax?


When attempting to import I received an error "Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to obtaining a connection from the pool.  This may have occurred because all pooled connections were in use and max pool size was reached."

  • In your internet browser delete cookies, cache and temporary internet files, then retry to import.

  • Try using a different internet browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer.
