How do I resolve "Tax service is not enabled for this account" in Sage 500?
Overview
When trying to access the "Maintain Tax Class Mapping" under "AvaTax" > "Maintenance" we receive "Tax Service is not enabled for this account. Please contact Avalara Support".
Environment
Sage 500
Resolution

Verify credentials are valid

Remove Sage Sales Tax Server and Sage Sales Tax Client

Reinstall Sage Sales Tax Server and Sage Sales Tax Client

If using multiple workstations Sage Sales Tax Client will need to be un-installed and re-installed on each workstation

Re-enter the Avalara Account Credentials and Test Connection. You should no longer receive the error.
