You have a customer, who should no longer be exempt, still not being charged tax, you see that all certificates on file for the customer are expired.
- Expired certificates are still active and will apply to a backdated sale that is dated during the active period on even an expired certificate
- Check the transaction date and compare to the expiration date.
- Review the active certificates in the Admin Console (Organization > Exemptions) to confirm if there is an additional active certificate other than the expired certificate you see in CertCapture
- If so, submit as case to Support that includes the certificate number to have it revoked.
