How do I resolve "File does not exists, please contact CertCapture Support" when adding a comment/file to my Customer?

Overview

You're in CertCapture, and you're trying to add a comment or file to your Customer record. 

 

When you go to add the comment or file, you see the error message "File does not exists, please contact CertCapture Support."

Resolution

  • This error occurs when you're not accessing the company to which the customer belongs
  • Usually, this happens when you're trying to add a comment/file while accessing a top-level company
