Expand Bill-to-Ship Addresses Campaign Setting

What are the Expand Bill-to-Ship Address and Consolidate to Customer Sheet settings during campaign creation?

Resolution

These settings apply to mailing campaigns when cover letters are generated and printed. Use it to consolidate requests when you need exemption documents from multiple ship-to customers in a particular state.

Say you have a Bill-To customer with customers in the following exposure zones: AL (bill-to), CA-1, CA-2, and NC (ship-to).

  • Scenario 1 - Expand Address not used
    • Certificates are requested for AL, CA, and NC
  • Scenario 2: Expand address used, Consolidated Sheet not used
    • Certificates are requested for AL for the Bill-To customer only
    • Certificates are requested separately for CA-1, CA-2, and NC for the associated Ship-To customers
  • Scenario 3: Expand address and Consolidated Sheet used
    • Certificates are requested for AL for the Bill-To customer
    • Certificates are requested separately for CA-1 and NC, for the associated Ship-To customers
    • A consolidated sheet is generated for the two CA Ship-To customers
    • A consolidated sheet is generated for the NC Ship-To customer
